Estimated completion date and official opening of the road is Saturday 20 April 3013

Review of any Issues:

Work outside of the agreed hours – Fulton Hogan to advise on community on Friday about Saturday work

Council to liaise with community re car cleaning

Wellington City Council willing to arrange exterior cleaning of houses affected by construction – Liaison Group to advise

End part of project involving rollers and vibration may affect Glenside Road residents – to notify

Possibility of speed signs on road was raised and will be investigated

 

Work to be completed to finish the project 26 February 2013 – 20 April 2013

Complete handrail and paths at the western bridge

Small area of kerbing still to prepare

Continuation of footpath and handrail in middle section

Backfilling behind the footpaths and kerbing

Sediment pond at corner of Stebbings/Glenside Roads to be filled in and swale to be added

Rest of services added and sewerage and storm water completed

Sealing of road – to begin in about ten days - involving a bottom layer of base fill to be rolled and then the bitumen on top

Cuts in banks tidied and hydro seeding commenced

Water main – need to connect by bridge

Tidying up the Churton Park end of the road to the western bridge: banks, handrail and footpath

Preparation for the kerbing through the middle section

Continuation of the footpath and handrail through to the eastern end

Sediment pond at corner of Stebbings/Glenside Roads to be partially filled in – awaiting approval from Council

Swale for storm water along Reedy’s property (near temporary bridge)

Two metre retaining wall to be built alongside Reedy’s shed

Services (lighting) put in as far as Reedy’s shed

Worked on sewerage and storm water from shed to eastern bridge– four sumps and six to seven man holes
